CDESL provide specialized scaffolding services tailored to the unique needs of ship repair projects. Yard’s team designs, installs, and dismantles scaffolding structures to ensure safe and efficient access to all areas of the vessel, from the hull and superstructure to confined interior spaces. Using high-quality materials and adhering to strict safety standards, our principals create customized solutions that facilitate inspections, welding, painting, and other repair tasks. Their commitment to reliability and precision ensures minimal downtime and seamless support for ship maintenance operations.

Hull Repair Works

CDESL specialize in hull repair works to maintain the structural integrity and seaworthiness of vessels. Yard’s services include patching, welding, and plate replacement to address damage caused by corrosion, impacts, or wear. Our principals conduct detailed inspections to identify weaknesses, ensuring repairs meet safety and regulatory standards. Using advanced techniques and high-quality materials, they restore the hull’s strength, water-tightness, and functionality. Whether addressing minor dents or major structural repairs, yard’s team ensures precision and efficiency to minimize downtime and extend the vessel's lifespan.

Shore Cranage Services

Yard’s shore cranage services provide essential lifting and handling support for vessels during maintenance and repair. Using heavy-duty cranes, our principals efficiently load and unload materials, machinery, and components, as well as position large parts for repair or replacement on the ship. These services are vital for tasks such as moving heavy engines, propulsion systems, or hull sections, ensuring that heavy loads are safely and precisely handled. Yard’s team operates cranes with high levels of expertise and safety, facilitating seamless operations while minimizing downtime during ship repair processes.

Wire Spooling and Bollard Pull Test Services

CDESL offer comprehensive wire spooling services to support vessel performance and safety. Yard’s wire spooling services ensure that electrical cables are organized, protected, and properly routed for various systems, preventing damage and ensuring easy deployment during installations. Our principals specialize in efficient and accurate spooling, catering to the unique needs of each ship’s infrastructure.

In addition, yard’s bollard pull test services are designed to measure the maximum pulling force of a vessel's engine or tug. This test is essential for assessing the performance of propulsion systems, ensuring the vessel meets operational standards and is capable of performing under various conditions. Both services are performed with precision and expertise to guarantee the vessel’s reliability, safety, and compliance with maritime regulations.

High & Ultra High Pressure Washing, Blasting and Painting

CDESL deliver comprehensive high-pressure and Ultra High-pressure washing, blasting, and painting services to restore and protect vessels during repairs. Yard’s high-pressure washing removes marine growth, rust, and grime, preparing surfaces for the next stages. Blasting services, including grit and sandblasting, are employed to strip away corrosion and old coatings, ensuring a clean, smooth foundation. Finally, our principals apply specialized marine-grade paints and coatings that enhance durability, corrosion resistance, and aesthetic appeal. These services are performed with precision and efficiency, ensuring the vessel’s longevity and compliance with industry standards.

Hydrostatic Testing: Checks for leaks in tanks, pipes, and pressure vessels under high pressure

Load Testing: Verifies the vessel’s ability to safely support cargo and weight distribution

Stability Testing: Assesses the vessel’s balance under static and dynamic conditions

Electrical Testing: Ensures the proper functioning and safety of the ship’s electrical systems

These tests ensure the vessel meets safety standards and operational reliability

Afloat Works

Afloat works refer to ship repair and maintenance services performed while the vessel is still afloat, without the need for dry-docking. These services are particularly useful for urgent repairs or when the vessel needs to remain operational. Afloat works typically include hull repairs, painting, cleaning, welding, and maintenance of propulsion and steering systems. It also covers inspections and modifications to the ship’s electrical and mechanical systems. Performing repairs afloat helps minimize downtime and reduces the need for costly dry-docking, ensuring that the vessel can continue its operations while repairs are being carried out.
